Yester House

The historic and charming main building of the former Webster Estate, Yester House, is home to curATE café, and includes 10 distinct galleries, children’s activity room, and bridal suite. The first floor is handicap accessible

Yester House seating capacity:
curATE café: Up to 50 people indoors (outdoors: add 50 to people current seating)
The adjacent Gallery One: Up to 40 people
Gallery Two: Up to 70 people.

More than one space can be used at once, and there is the option for tenting to add additional seating.

Elizabeth de C. Wilson Museum

Designed by renowned architect Hugh Newell Jacobsen, the vaulted ceilings and spacious galleries of the Wilson Museum provide a contemporary setting for your event. The building also has a spacious meeting room and on-site kitchenette.

Museum Capacity: 150 people for a cocktail party (availability depends on exhibition agreements)
Conference Room Capacity: 15 people

Louise Arkell Pavillion

Southern Vermont Arts Center’s performing arts space is a 400-seat auditorium, with professional-quality acoustics and is one of the area’s finest venues. Large sections of the side walls can roll away to create a unique open-air experience. The facility also includes dressing rooms, a lobby, a box office, and a wet bar.

The expansive back lawn often serves as the location for tented events for clients wishing to host guests in one large area.

Indoor theater capacity: 400 seats
Tent rental: up to 300 people

The Hay Madeira Education Center

Two airy, modern teaching studios at the base of Mount Equinox boast ample natural light. Host your own private art-making event led by one of SVAC’s professional instructors. A private creative event makes for the perfect family gathering, birthday party, or bridal shower. The studios are also available to rent during portions of the year for individual artists’ use.

curATE café

Located in Yester House, offering indoor and patio seating, SVAC’s beautifully renovated restaurant serves contemporary cocktails and cuisine year-round under the auspices of local foodie legend Church Street Hospitality.

Capacity: Up to 50 people indoors (outdoors: add 50 to people current seating)

Church Street Hospitality is the exclusive caterer and event planner for all rentals at SVAC, offering unparalleled service and the confidence that with just one call, all of your needs will be addressed.

GENERAL PRICING STRUCTURE

SITE FEES:
Friday: $3,000
Saturday: $5,000
Other days: May be reduced or waived.
Rentals: Dependent on Event

TYPICAL FOOD AND BEVERAGE COSTS:
Prices noted do not include Vermont tax or gratuities.

DINNERS/RECEPTIONS:
Our dinner packages range from $65 to $85 and up per person.

A fixed open bar (call level spirits) lasting 5 hours for guests over 21 years of age runs $55 per person. Specialty liquors such as single malt scotches, bourbons, cordials, etc. may be included for an additional price per consumption. Dinner wine and a champagne toast are available at an additional per person fee. On consumption bar can be customized to fit your budget

REHEARSAL DINNERS:
Themed buffets such as a Barbecue, Clambake, or Vermont Localvore Feast, can be arranged for $50 and up per person.

COCKTAIL HOURS / WELCOME RECEPTIONS:
We can arrange separate informal gatherings with a selection of stationary or passed hot and cold hors d’oeuvres ranging from $12 to $20 and up per person.
